I started a self defense class last week, but this week (week 2) it turned into mojitos with the ladies as a last 'see you soon'. I learned a lot last week. We are all geared up and ready to go to Canada. Both kids are already in a bit of a funk and I don't feel optimistic it is going to go well but in 48 hours it will all be over either way (barring absolutely horrible travel delays). The last few days have been emotional and busy but I will share some of the cuter moments...
Here is how Carl starts his mornings. Up at 415, he rides the bike and then makes the smoothie. But the blender is so loud he brings it into the gym room to blend. Every morning. What a loving daddy.
Farewell playgroup. Without any instructions the children have formed a line a safe distance from the swing. They must have learned that in school.
Theo hiding guinea. He thinks it is the best spot ever.
Kaia fast asleep due to utter exhaustion between play dates.
While she sleeps I figure I can get some packing done but there is one small problem. Just like the cats used to do. Pets are great preparation for parenting!!
1 more sleep!!!
