Nevermind my meltdown drama. Things are much better now. Thanks for the loving thoughts.
Friday was insanely busy, and I do enjoy a busy day. Huge highlight was the birthday party for Kaia's classmate. It was out at the TGT fields with the playground and they hired a bouncy castle too. All the pizza you can eat and this rocking gummy cake! All of her classmates and been psyched since Monday when the invitations went around. We are definitely into the age where kids know what a 'party' is!
At one point I couldn't find Kaia. Quite unusual. I walked right past her as I was looking. Didn't expect to see her sitting on a bar stool watching cartoons on the big screen.
But the highlight of the day was Daddy coming home. A rainbow and Kaia's beautiful smile were waiting to greet him.
Saturday was a much more relaxing day. Another wonderful birthday in the afternoon. Surely we have all put on a few kilos this weekend!
Kaia didn't know many of the children very well and can be quite shy in new settings. The girls were very nice to her and she was having a good time with them by the time we left.
And Theo also kept busy smiling for everyone, gnawing on meat bones, whacking balloons about, eating chalk, trying to jump into the pool, and driving the cars.
